In order to increase flood preparedness and response capacity, Eurosec has supplied the State Fire and Rescue Service of Latvia with flood protection barriers. The delivery was executed under the cross-border cooperation project FloodAdapt (LL-00105). Delivered amount is enough to provide around 300 meters of flood barriers.
Due to recent changes in weather patterns, the flood hazard has become an increased risk to property and human life. Thus, imminent readiness to tackle this hazard is of vital importance. Latvia has taken a leading initiative across the Baltics in increasing their preparedness, but neighbouring countries are expected to follow shortly, as the chosen solution by Latvia speaks for itself.
